Team Success in Aegon Junior Premier Club Event

U18 BOYS TO PLAY AEGON JUNIOR FINAL AT NATIONAL TENNIS CENTRE

This junior event involves over 60 of the best junior teams in the UK including the top tennis academies.
The team played a thrilling match at Chandos to earn a finals spot due to be played on 25 July at Roehampton. The start time will be advised shortly.

The results of the semi final match against the City of Nottingham Tennis Academy are as follows:

Singles
• Artiom Kolpakov beat Marc Westgate 6-3, 6-3
• Zack Evenden lost to Scott Whitbread 2-6, 7-6, 8-10
• Sizya Kivanda beat David Horton 6-4, 6-2
• Daniel McGrath beat Callum Chivers 6-0, 6-1

Doubles
• Artiom and Zack beat Marc and Scott 6-4, 6-2
• Sizya and Daniel beat David and Callum 3-6, 6-4, 10-8
Chandos won the match 10-2

This was a fantastic result and our team played very professionally and battled from beginning to end.
Artiom Kolpakov, Sizya Kivanda, Mehdi Aissani, Oliver Gan, Marcus Gan, Zack Evenden, Conor McDonald, and Daniel McGrath.

A big thanks to Chris Maher, coach to our performance players, who travelled and provided support for players throughout. Thanks also to our captain Edward Freedman who is also vital to their current success.

It was clearly a dominant performance from the girls who now qualify for the national semi-finals.
An amazing team spirit mixed with excellent performances ensured their place as qualifiers for this event.
Well played to Savannah Simons, Brielle Koulen, Cecily Wuenscher, Mallika Sood Emily Laciny and Sachia Vickery.
